Homework Policy
Homework is an important way to reinforce/practice concepts taught in class. This year students will have homework Monday through Thursday each week. They will record all assignments in their agenda. On a typical night, students will have 25 minutes of reading, a short math assignment (1-2 questions), and a weekly Social Studies article with questions. If students do not complete assignments in class, they may be assigned as homework. Unless otherwise noted, all homework is due the next school day. We are focusing on the habit Putting First Things First, and expect all homework to be turned in! If homework is not turned in, students may lose Sharpen the Saw time or have a working lunch to catch up on late work. I appreciate all of your assistance in helping develop good habits in our children!
